Program Review

The Program Review provides evidence that the Induction program is consistently meeting program standards.  The submission includes evidence from program documents that show how the program meets the standards.  The emphasis of the Program Review is generally focused on documentation and artifacts, and not on narrative description.

Element 1: Program Summary

Brief overview of the structure, course of study, and assessment of candidates for the program

How the program is designed, guiding philosophies for the program or specific mission

Table of delivery models and pathways

Organizational chart or graphic of program leadership and organization of instructional personnel

Personnel serving in non-teaching roles

Roles and responsibilities of those involved in assigning and placing mentors/coaches

Summary table of coaches/mentors and professional development personnel

Annotated list of instructional personnel (mentors/coaches)

Published documentation of experience and qualifications used to select instructional personnel

Element 4: Program Sequence

Sequence in which candidates complete the induction program

Program pathways and sequence

Specific evidence of meeting the requirements of job-embedded induction as described in the Commission standards for that program

Brief description of the program’s process to ensure that only qualified candidates are recommended for the credential

Link to the program’s candidate progress monitoring document or other tracking tool
